Brother Launches World’s First Compact A3 Inkjet Multi-Function Printer with Automatic Duplex Capability

The Professional Series MFC-6890CDW comes in a compact size and is meant to provide business owners maximum convenience and is a cost effective all-in-machine that allows users to print, copy, fax and scan up to A3 size.

Brother’s brand new A3 auto duplex multi-function printer combines all the everyday functions businesses may require. From printing of posters and marketing collaterals, faxing presentation boards and copying large spreadsheets, users no longer require separate devices or costly outsourced solutions. The MFC-6890CDW shows its capability in an office environment as it can print, copy, scan and fax on a variety of paper sizes up to A3.

A true Multi-Function Centre, the MFC–6890CDW is installed with a PC Fax receiving feature that allows users to receive faxes in soft copy even when the PC is turned off, and the Super G3 Fax allows transmissions in approximately 3 seconds.

It can also be used to scan documents directly to e-mail application or to a single PDF file. Users can also scan it to Optical Character Recognition(OCR) software, memory card or USB flash memory drive for added versatility.

Cost-saving enhancements – refer to built in duplexer, high yield

In addition to printing impressive collaterals, the automatic duplex capability function allows users to print on both sides of A4 paper, and can help companies looking to lower overall operating cost by reducing paper usage.

The MFC-6890CDW is bundled with high yield cartridges which hold twice the page yield of standard cartridges. The 4-cartridge ink system allows replacement of individual ink cartridge that has run out, which gives great cost savings.

It is also equipped with a user-friendly 4.2” wide touchscreen LCD and allows one to easily preview faxes or edit photos without the use of a PC, minimising paper and ink wastage, ultimately achieving maximum business efficiency.

Wireless Networking and Multiple Connectivity – Wireless network & network LAN connectivity

MFC–6890CDW’s built-in wireless and ethernet for easy networking provides more flexibility via functions such as out-of-the box wireless networking, multiple connectivity options – making it an indispensible business partner. Using web-based software from Brother, network administrators can even track the status of every printer in the network from their own PC and issues like paper jams and low toner can be identified when the printer is connected to the network.

Other than allowing users to print directly from, scan to, various multimedia cards and USB flash memory drives, the MFC-6890CDW supports Pictbridge printing where users can also print directly from a camera without having to switch on the computer

Customers can also choose to recycle via walk-in to the Brother Customer Service Showroom at 152 Beach Road, #01-01 Gateway East Singapore 189721 or they can mail back used ink cartridges via postage free envelopes sponsored by Brother or via selected Singapore Post offices.

All Professional Series MFCs have an 18 months “Collect and Return” warranty.

These machines can be purchased through Brother International Singapore’s authorised resellers and superstores and are supported by Brother Customer Service Centre, located at the ground level of Gateway East at Beach Road. It is open Mondays to Fridays, from 9am to 9pm, and on Saturdays, from 9am to 3pm.
