Agency will spearhead PR initiatives for Singapore’s Newest Sub-urban Shopping Mall

Singapore, 11 February 2009 – Red Dawn Communications announced today that the agency has just been appointed to handle PR for Tampines 1. The agency is tasked to proactively direct and implement the public relations programs for the upcoming launch of Singapore’s newest sub-urban shopping mall scheduled to open by early April 2009.
Tampines 1 is Singapore’s newest sub-urban mall and is managed by AsiaMalls Management (South East Asia) Pte Ltd. Tampines 1 is set to bring a breath of metropolitan lifestyle to the Tampines area with key tenants that include Amore Fitness, Cold Storage, Challenger, as well as international fashion brands such as Esprit, Topshop, Topman, Springfield and Promod. Uniqlo, a highly anticipated casual wear brand from Japan, will open its first shop in Singapore at Tampines 1.
Strategically located next to Tampines MRT station, Tampines 1 sits on a prime site which was formerly home to DBS Tampines Centre and the Pavilion Cineplex. Slated to open by early April 2009, Tampines 1 will be a new architectural landmark in the East. With an estimated catchment of 315,000 residents, including 15,000 PMEBs working in the area, the new mall covers a lettable floor area of 260,000 square feet over six retail floors which includes a basement car park of 203 car park lots. About 180 tenants are expected to move in when it is completed.
